About World Vision

As Our Response leadership sought out potential partners for impact, a key characteristics looked for was a partner who is actively pursuing solutions that would lead to self-sustainability by understanding the root causes and the broader context (political, cultural, economic).  The organizational structure also needed to bridge the communities through relationship rather than simply as a transaction.  Finally, the organization needed to be one of high reputation with deep accountability as to expenses and results.  Over the course of two years, multiple potential partners were considered before choosing World Vision as the best fit for our work and purpose.  More information about World Vision can be found at www.worldvision.org.
