Annual Celebration

Sunday, January 29, 2012

6pm-8:30 pm

Richard G. Hardy Performing Arts Center, 430 8th Avenue NW, Cambridge, MN

Featuring Sara Groves and the 2011 Rwanda Trip Team

Our Response, in response to global poverty, united with World Vision two years ago to bring hope and transformation to Kivuruga, Rwanda—one community impacting another almost 8,000 miles away! You are invited to their second Annual Celebration with Sara Groves on Sunday, January 29, at 6 pm. Singer and songwriter Sara Groves, who has just produced her 11th album, will share from the unique perspective of someone personally impacted by travel to Rwanda. This free event at Cambridge-Isanti High School’s Performing Arts Center will highlight the unity of many East Central churches and the generous sponsorship of over 250 Kivurugan children. Hear more about Our Response and their recent team trip to Kivuruga. Learn how you can be involved in transforming a community, one child at a time. Doors open at 5:30; call 763-250-4655 if you would like to reserve a seat with a $25 donation.

Special thanks to our anonymous community sponsor in honor of Jerry and Millie Healy. Evenings such as this would not be possible without support from people like you and the many other contributors who have donated time, resources, and money.

There are a number of materials that have been created to help promote the event, specifically for churches but could be used in a variety of ways.  Please feel free to download and distribute any of the following items.  If you have problems or need hard copies, please contact Steve Fredlund at 651-587-5435.
