Volunteers are an essential part of Our Response because that’s what we rely on to operate. No employees here; just people that love using their gifts, talents, and abilities to love and serve others.
The team works hard to keep expenses to a minimum; therefore, Our Response is always looking for volunteers to donate time, skills, and/or supplies. Some areas we are seeking help include website design/maintenance, researching specific issues, administrative help, event planning, and communication.
We are in the process of mobilizing our volunteers according to our needs and their interests and skills. If you are interested in a formal volunteer role with Our Response, please send an email to Steve Fredlund at steve@our-response.org stating which role(s) you are interested in, why you are interested in them, and why you feel you would be a good choice to serve in this way.
We are also always looking for Prayer Partners. Our Response aims to unite all residents, regardless of faith perspective, in responding to the emergency in Africa. If your spiritual beliefs include prayer, we welcome you to pray on behalf of this effort. In fact, we are looking to formalize a prayer team – if that is an interest of yours, please let us know.
